midnight sushi Posted December 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2008 when installed, are casino slots new ones or re-used ones from land-based casinos?
Rare Keith1010 Posted December 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2008 In general, usually new but there could be exceptions. Keith

cb at sea Posted December 22, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2008 It really doesn't matter where the actual machines come from---each casino sets them as they see fit. Expect relatively tight slots on cruise ships! (They have no competition!)
deputyfl Posted December 22, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2008 what about day gambling cruises Ive been on a bunch of day cruises. Alot of the machines are sold with the ships. The Maximillion (a day cruise) had machines and tokens that were used on the ship under two other owners when they went out of buisness (Atlantic Casino Cruises and Aquasino). Some are probably leased or purchased from companies such as IGT https://www.igt.com/Pages/Home.aspx .
