Nekochan Posted December 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2008 I'll be going on RCCL in February with my 13 year old. I was thinking my next cruise I would try either Carnival or Princess. I loved Celebrity, and had one good and one bad cruise with NCL, but don't think Celebrity would be great for a teenager. What are opinions on these 3 cruiselines for a teenager? cb at sea Posted December 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Either Carnival or RCI will have more for the teens...and probably more teens in general! I would try either of those lines.

I agree either RCI or Carnival. I will add that RCI has more sports type of activitees..rock climbing, in-line skating (depending upon the ship) ice skating..I think they offer the most activitess and the staff that work in the kids/teen programs all have college degrees. RCI also has better pools.
Cuizer2 Posted December 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2008 If you are looking at Carnival, Royal Caribbean or Princess, I would suggest Carnival or Royal Caribbean for a teenager.
rebeccalouise Posted December 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2008 I agree- Princess is great for little kids but there isn't really that much for teens on board. Likewise for Celebrity. However, I have to say that on some of the Holland America cruises there are really cool teens only areas.
