AshP Posted December 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2008 We will soon be traveling to Barbados via the NCL Jewel and I am trying to decide which beach would be best for us. We are looking for a beach that has beautiful water (of course!), somewhere to rent chairs and umbrellas and not too noisy. We don't really care to watch or listen to jet skiis. Also need restroom facilities and food/adult beverages :D I have narrowed it down to Accra or Boatyard or Paynes Bay. I'm thinking the Boatyard may be too "busy" for us. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Aplmac Posted December 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2008 http://www.*****.com/scenes.html might help you decide. Paynes Bay will almost definitely have jet-ski's! Boatyard is one small building along a 2 mile beach called Carlisle Bay If you aren't in the actual Boatyard beach-hangout, the place it isn't busy. Accra: let the photos speak for themselves,
Rare Tak8 Posted December 31, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2008 The Boatyard was nice when I was there a few years ago. I imagine at night it is a noisy place, but it wasn't bad the day I was there. Some cruise ship passengers, but plenty of room to swim and relax.
