help with tip for babysitting

My family will go on our first cruise with carnival miracle in two weeks. my son is almost 3 yo and toilet-trained. my dh and i plan to leave him in child camp during at least one of our excursion days at the port. how much should i tip the staff in the camp for 6 hrs? thanks a lot for any suggestion. i have no clue at all.

20% would be appropriate unless you feel extra special service was given and then I would give extra on top of that.

I also know of some couples who actually bring a sitter/nanny with them to care for childreen. In the long run it comes out to be cheeper and more trustworthy.

I would give the tip at the end of the cruise and base it on how often your son uses the camp. It really is a personal decision as to how much to tip. See how everything goes and how pleased you are.
