Concierge Class Cabin 1240 on the Mercury:

Can anyone tell me if this stateroom has a overhang like on the Summit; and if the balcony is larger than the norm on CC staterooms?

Love this room! Only 1200 and 1201 are better in size and location (center). Four largest CC balconies on the ship, 1200,1201, 1240,1241

 

Large balcony with a small overhang which we enjoyed when it was a light rain, but at least 2/3 open. We had 2 chairs, a table and 2 loungers with a side table and still plenty of room. Also has a slight cutout on the backside that opens up the view. Only negative is some noise from the basketball court during the day and sometimes at night. On a last cruise we had to call the pursers desk to get some kids to quit playing after midnight. No problems after that night. Only noticed noise with the balcony door open or when on the balcony. Balcony is also open and people walking above can look down and see you so be sure no hanky panky unless you want to be seen, lol. Hope you have it booked!.

Absolutely agree, this and the same cabins on the Galaxy have always been some of the most sought after cabins in the fleet. If they are available grab it...

Great news:D I was booked in 1240 and am now in 1200, so it appears either way I was in a great cabin. I'm so excited to have it confirmed;)

Same very large veranda less any problems from BB court. Great cabin, great location, very convienent,enjoy your cruise.
