Sports Bar on Summit?

Turns out I'm going to be on the Summit for the Super Bowl on Feb. 1. I don't see anywhere that there is a sports bar on the M class ships. Does anyone know if there is some kind of area like this?

Hey there,

No such bar exists on the Summit. They may get creative and use one of the lounges with a projector for it, or maybe you can take over a pool bar, or even the Park West gallery, but nothing dedicated exists to my knowledge. :-)

We were on Summit last year for Superbowl. I can't say enough great things about how it was handled! They showed the game in the large theater on a huge screen. They had all of the game day foods you could possibly want served in a buffet at the back. Not to mention there was a dessert and ice cream bar.

There was a ribbon or rope or something down the middle indicating the NY side and the New England side. There were more New England fans, but we Giants fans were much louder!

The waiters came around often getting orders for drinks and sodas. We were on the cruise with a group of 10 and most of us spent the entire game in the theater having a great time! I believe there was a pre-game party in one of the bars, but we stopped in the martini bar for the martini tasting first.

We will be on Constellation for Superbowl this year and I am really hoping for a repeat experience!

Have a great time! Go Giants!!!

Hi,:) none of the ships have a true "Sportsbar" anymore.

I remember when CENTURY had a place called "IMAGES"

and it was a Sportsbar. I sailed her during the 2004 playoffs

when the Eagles played the Panthers. Geee....there is a chance

they could play each other this year too;)...naaaa...gotta

root for the Giants:D

(Images has been turned into the Martini Bar).

Most of the ships do have tv's in the Casinos and from everything

I have been told, they show the playoffs and the Superbowl in

areas set up for those special games.

I will be on Galaxy this weekend AND next weekend so I guess

I will find out soon enough.
