We'll be leaving on the Voyager this Sunday! YAY! Have just a few last minute questions:

 

How much cash can I get from the Casino each day? Can I get cash from the pursers desk? Is there an ATM on board ship?

 

Are there hairdryers in cabins?

 

Is there internet access in the cabin?

There is an ATM onboard, adjacent to the pursers desk, and the place to get cash is the casino or the ATM, not the pursers desk.

 

Also, there is internet service onboard ($0.55 per minute? I think) but it's not in your cabin.

 

I forget about the hair dryers, since I don't have enough hair to need a dryer, and someone else will have to give you the lowdown on casino cash.

We had a hair dryer in our room.

 

Be prepared when using the internet - although $0.55 per minute doesn't sound like much, it is VERY slow - it cost me $4.95 just to check my yahoo mail! At that rate I decided I wouldn't surf the net.

Every cabin has a hair dryer. If you have long, thick hair that needs blowing, as opposed to heat, then bring your own. They're like those "hotel" dryers. They get hot, but they don't blow hard enough to do what "blow dryers" are supposed to do!

I believe the casino limit is $2,000 per day, but now you'll be charged a 3% fee if your sea pass is charged to your credit card.

 

Every room has a hairdryer, but the on button needs to be held down the entire time you're using it (although some did post on another thread the idea of wrapping an elastic or hairband around it to keep it in the on position).

 

I usually bring my own hairdryer for 7 nights or less, but for our recent 15 night TA, I couldn't afford the extra space/weight in the luggage.
