Hi! We'll be leaving on Feb. 7 on the Eurodam. Wondering if anyone can tell us the difference in the menu for lunch vs. dinner in the Tamarid? Do you need reservations for lunch there? We'll be booking dinner there, but still wondering if the lunch menu is the same each day or not as extravegant as dinner.

We were under the impression that we were to get one of each of the dim sum - but we did't.

From the Steamed Dumplings we got 1 spinach and mushroom and 2 shrimp fixed 2 different ways.

From the wok we got 1 each of everything except the shrimp spring roll.

The day we were there, they were swamped with people -- chef just wasn't expecting so many people and couldn't keep up with everything.

We enjoyed the dim sum lunch but skipped the dessert and headed to Lido for Ice cream and bread pudding. OK it was the 3-day cruise and I had to get my fill of bread pudding somehow. We made sure we had a good breakfast also. (Eggs Benedict). We sailed to see the new ship and eat!:D

It was enough food for me -- but my husband was hungry after the meal -- the dim sum are not large.

So your advice is to hit the Tamarind for an early lunch right after they open, then hit the Lido for a late lunch right before they close? Sounds like a plan! :o
