katisdale Posted January 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2009 Our grandchildren (ages 8 and 11) love the Princess kids programs. If the kids are under 3 years of age they can still use the facilities if an adult accompanies them to the area. There is no babysitting on Princess but perhaps the 16 year old could be enticed to look after the 8 mo. old for one evening so the parents could have a few free hours? mjmalino Posted January 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2009 We will be on Ruby in July with our 2 DS, and this will be our third cruise (all Princess). My kids absolutely love the kids camps! I like the fact that some of the activities are port specific. For instance, when we were in Alaska, they made totem poles the day we were in Ketchikan. When we cruised Glacier Bay, one of the park rangers that boarded the ship spent time in the kids camp doing a Jr. Ranger program with them. I also though it was cool that one of the counselors in the Caribbean this past summer remembered my kids from the year before in Alaska.
