Temperature in Staterooms and Public Areas?

Hi - we are going out on the Independence on March 1st (can't wait). Was wondering if the temperature can be adjusted in the staterooms?

Also, if there any recent travellers on the Indy, especially ladies, do they keep the public rooms cold, like the library, main dining rooms, show theaters, casino, bars, etc. Thanks. I do not like cold termperatures. One cruise that we went on with another line, you almost had to wear a jacket in a number of public rooms and it was in the summer.

In your stateroom - you can adjust the thermostat. in public areas - I am always chilly too - I usually take a little sweater that I can slip on - mostly at dinner.

In the stateroom, they have a thermostat to adjust the temperature, honestly on this last cruise it didn't make much difference, it was either a tad warm to very warm in the room.

Usually on cruises I have taken shawls or sweaters to wear around ship because I get chilly. We noticed the ship was much warmer and times VERY warm, we thought maybe they were cutting back on the A/C to save fuel.
