San Juan on Sundays

Sox Fan Cruiser

Recommended Posts

Hi in OSJ, shops will be open with typical Sunday Hours. Museums are closed Sundays and Mondays. Both forts are open. El Yunque will be open. Sunday is a nice day to walk around OSJ and if the weather is good, the field in front of El Morro tends to fill up with families having fun and flying kites (it's quite a site).

Depending on how much time you have this walking tour of Old San Juan might be useful.

enjoy

PR is alive and well on Sundays.

Stores are open 11am -5pm on Sundays.

In SJ and OSJ, most museums are open on Sunday as well, though a few are not open. But the best ones are ( National Gallery, and the Museum of the Americas both in OSJ).

How long to stay after your cruise depends on what you want to do. If it is just to tour OSJ, then you can do it in a day/night. Maybe one other day of you are really into it.

If you want to explore a bit and do some uniquely PR things, then add a few more nights. Things like the Bioluminescent bays or the rain forest. etc.
