gunner22a Posted January 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2009 Does anyone know how much bigger the balconies are on the hump? I have 1610 booked in Aqua Class and was just wondering. Thanks
tokathy Posted February 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2009 I stayed in 8283 on the Solstice and the balcony was bigger.
cb at sea Posted February 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2009 They don't really appear to be any larger than any other balcony--perhaps the angle, being on the edge of the "hump" may give you a few extra inches.
tokathy Posted February 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2009 It was considerably deeper than the balconies on the straight line of the ship or the cabins on the straight center of the hump. All the hump cabins also gave you a better view straight down to the water as the lifeboats were below you just down from deck 6 if I remember correctly. lives-to-travel-er Posted March 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2009 There is a long thread on the Celebrity section about the balcony size of the humps on Soltice--the cabin on the start of the angle on the hump and the 3rd have bigger balconies--meaning YOURS will be larger than the standard veranda balcony. Check thepreismans.com 's webpage with pictures of Cabin 1231, the third cabin off the hump on the Sky deck; it seems to have balcony approx 10 x 10.
