Hi, ive done 9 cruises to date, 3 x Jubilee, 5 x Sensation and 1 x Pride, thanks for info, it really helps!

Make sure they are all on your past guest history, cause no matter how many you count if Carnival doesn't have a memory of it then it doesn't count.

I could only get one of my 1st 2 cruises on the Festivale in 83 & 84 counted cause I only hade 1 embarkation photo

They most certainly are all on my history, the guy from Carnival that is organising our cruise to Alaska, actually emailed it too me, as I was finding it difficult to log into. I thought I may have been close, so was really excited this morning when I recieved my email.

Greetings CC Double! Congrats on your upcoming Platinum status, you're going to really like it. My first was two weeks ago on Inspiration and it was nice! Even better that your first one will be on a week long cruise to Alaska.

Now that I'm not hijacking the thread ;), you should come join us over at the (5/6/09 Spirit) roll call. We aren't a big group, but we are all getting pretty excited about the upcoming Glacier Bay cruise! Here is a link:

How does the Vacation Interchange Privileges on Carnival sister brands work? Very curious as out here in Australia unfortunatley we have no Carnival ships based, but have plenty of Princess ones that do regular South Pacific / New Zealand, Australian / Asian Itineries. We love to cruise on Carnival so it means its a long flight to the States for us. In the perfect world it would be wonderful if Carnival sent some ships "Down Under"!

We have 1 cruise on Princess a few years ago, then one on Carnival coming in March... Does that make us Gold or does it have to be two on the exact same brand?

No it has to be the same brand.

The vacation interchange entitles you to past guest pricing on all of Carnival's partners. But it does not count towards each lines VIP program. It line maintains it's own identity and each lines programs differ somewhat.
