Magicat Posted January 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Just thought we would share a place we stayed at in San Juan. http://www.cyberrentals.com/rental/p190028 We were 3 couples looking for a place to stay pre cruise in San Juan for our Adventure of the Seas cruise. On the above web site we found this place. Carlos agreeded to rent the unit to us for 2 nights with an additional $75 charge instead of the usual 3 night minimum. The condo is everything it's advertised to be and more. It is on the edge of Old San Juan and only a 5 minute walk to the Sheraton Hotel. The condo is gated and felt very safe. Three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths made for a great relaxing experience before our cruise. The kitchen is spacious and has all the basic necessities to cook with. Previous renters have left food, condiments and booze as we left our extra food. Carlos also supplied eggs, bacon and bread for us which was a great touch. The amenties to the condo include an exercise room (didn't use) and a pool that we did. I'm sure there were more but we decided to go to the San Sabastian festival instead of hanging at the condo. Beer and parting or exercising? Hmmm what to do? LOL To sum it up, this was a great place to stay pre cruise and even post cruise especially if there are 3 couples to share the cost with. We highly recommend this place and will definately stay there the next time we go to San Juan!
KAWS Posted January 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Wow - it looks like an awesome place. I'll mark it in case we get back there with friends. What a great alternative to a hotel and a super way to start your vacation.
Magicat Posted January 29, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Oh yeah the cost of a cab to the port was $10 plus luggage cost. From the Airport was around $30 (4 people and 11 pieces of luggage) but Carlos will arrange to pick you up.
