kokoko Posted November 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2004 Does any one know if you have to leave the ship and go thru customs again? What about your bags do they have to come off ship and than go on again? How about do they let you keep the same room if it is in the same cat. We are booked on the celeb. Horizon Feb.21 and again on Mar. 4. Total 21 days on board and I am so excited.
serene56 Posted November 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2004 Back to backs-- you do not have to take the luggage with you when you check out and check back in. Pursers desk should take you through all that. Try to get the same cabin for both weeks so you dont have to pack it and move it.

mr green Posted November 18, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2004 :) You may get a new Key. If you do first check that it opens your door, next check your table seating, then leave the ship with you old card, then turn round with your new card, and smile at the camera!:) Have a good cruise, john taylor. Krazy Kruizers Posted November 19, 2004 #6 Share Posted November 19, 2004 We have done a lot of back-to-back cruises. Since we book a certain cabin we have never had to worry about changing cabins. But if your TA isn't able to get you the same cabin for the second segment of your cruise, your cabin steward will be able to assist in moving you to your new cabin. The night before, you will get new room keys and new cruise cards. Inform your cabin steward that you will be moving to another cabin the next day. Then the morning while everyone else is getting ready to leave the ship, go and see your new cabin steward and tell him that you are already on the ship and will be moving into such and such cabin. He can then get that cabin ready for you as soon as possible. Leave your clothes on their hangers - they can use a luggage rack to move them. Put everything else in your suitcases. Krazy Kruizers Posted November 19, 2004 #7 Share Posted November 19, 2004 You won't have to go through customs. But you will have to go through immigration. That only takes a couple of minutes depending upon which port you are in. You get off the ship when called, show your passport, and get right back on the ship. C 2 C Posted November 23, 2004 #8 Share Posted November 23, 2004 On our recent B2B we had to go through customs as well... that card to fill out when you get to a port... but that was in FLL and on the Sun Princess.. ours was poorly organized... On the Island Princess in Feb we were escorted through the entire process. Enjoy the trip but pax are normally ignored on turnaround days...
