dwdwnurse Posted February 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2009 I may have missed this, but I can't get my Radisson at the Port webcam to work. Is it my computer or is it down? (If I can't be there, at least I can watch the ships!) Thanks!
BBTT Posted February 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Its been down for a while..try this one..--http://portcanaveral.org/webcam.htm
dwdwnurse Posted February 8, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Thank you BBTT - the site pulls up, but it's just black in the middle! Is there something else required to be able to use the cam? (I am using Internet Explorer - I'll try to use Mozilla, too). Thanks again!
BBTT Posted February 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2009 It usually takes about 20 seconds or so for it to open..when it does open double click on it and it will go fullscreen..updates every couple seconds...after ship leaves you can go to http://cocoabeachnow.com/index (takes 30-45 min to get there) and click on beach cams...port canaveral...and pan all the way to left and watch the ships head out to sea...
BBTT Posted February 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2009 I just went back to my link and it opened for me..I use internet explorer also...I'm not very computer literate but usually figure things out eventually....let me know how you make out. Sundays are the best days watching all the ships leave from all the Florida ports..
dwdwnurse Posted February 8, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Thank you! I will try it again and wait - I thought it would pop up like the Radisson webcam. I'll try again and be patient!! Thanks again :)
dwdwnurse Posted February 8, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted February 8, 2009 Sorry to report back that I waited over 30 minutes and it still hasn't come up. I also tried the Cocoa Beach cam and it said "Server Error." Do you think my computer is blocking it? I just want to see a ship!!!:o

wolfcathorse Posted February 8, 2009 #10 Share Posted February 8, 2009 I haven't been able to see either camera for a while with Mozilla or IE. I know the Port Canaveral cam is down as there's construction going on. Don't know what's up with Radisson's cam. And the webcam at port canaverals site used to come up for me but won't now, no matter how long I wait.
