Palm Grill Ft. Lauderdale...Question

Two years ago, someone on these wonderful boards suggested the Palm Grill for lunch. It was right down by the Beach. And we really enjoyed ourselves. We are going back next week and was wondering if it is still there and if anyone has been there recently. We are staying at the Embassy on 17th.. What is the best way to get there?

Thank you in advance...Rianvi:)

The Palm Grill at Beach Place closed about 2 months ago. There is still one at Riverfront (Andrews Ave and Las Olas Blvd). The food is pretty good and reasonable and they have 3-4-1 drinks. But it is really dead now at Riverfront, so there isn't much atmosphere. You can get a discounted gift certificate at restaurant.com. It's only 2 miles from your hotel, so cab fare is inexpensive.

Thank you for your quick response. We will probably stay around our hotel then. We are taking a post cruise excursion...bus and boat tour, so won't bother with the water taxi.

Thanks again...Rianvi:)
