Where is Kelvin Joy-CD???

When we were on the Crown, TA last fall, our favorite cruise director of all time was Kelvin Joy. He mentioned that he may be leaving in Feb. and going to another ship. Does anyone have an update?:rolleyes:

DH and I were discussing him just yesterday. I picked up his "easy peasy lemon squeezy". :D

We were on his last cruise before his time off (Jan. 18 - 25 on the Crown) and he told me he's on leave for a few months and then will be joining the Star Princess down in Australia.

We loved Kelvin! We were with him on the CB this past June. Hopefully someday we'll see him again. :)

I love Kelvin too :))) His morning show with Brett - driving him crazy with that uh huh, uh huh song/dance :D

Wish a trip to Oz was in the books and perhaps a cruise ....

Kelvin is one of the best cruise directors we have seen. He has such a wonder personality! A real hands-on guy!! We too would like to sail with him again.

How about Ahrozo (Kelvin's girlfriend, at least then) and Brett? Are they still on the Crown or are they being transferred also?

Pia-I notice that you also couldn't pass up the great prices for Alaska. We are going in May (on the Island) and doing land tour KB6. This will be #6 for me in Alaska!! Then, in July (yes, I know it will be hot) we are going on the Ruby to the Greek Isles. Can't wait!:)

Our Alaska price is not so great pricewise when you consider it's 8 day precruise escorted; all meals, etc. I took the easy way out. What is great is that we stay on after the cruise for an additional 18 days to FLL. :D
