warmwinds Posted April 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2004 I've been on 7 and 11-days with Celebrity, and lobster was served only once, at the last formal night. Can anyone who has been on a 14 night (with still 3 formal nights) tell me if it is served twice? It's really like being on two 7-nighters so I'm hoping... Nibby1 Posted April 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2004 We were on the Zenith for the 14-day cruise in March and only had lobster tails one night. There was lobster on the Gala Midnight Buffet. And the lobster bisque soup was excellent. Hope you enjoy!
ecowen Posted April 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Consider that a good thing because many people don't like the lobster served on board. They serve Caribbean spiny lobster, not New England lobster, which means it has no claws and tastes different than people are used to. Also, the lobster on board tends to be overcooked and tough, due to the fact that it has to be kept warm for a long period of time.
signman Posted April 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2004 I'll be on two 7 day back to backs in the fall. Do you think there will be lobster once each cruise?

hebeast Posted April 7, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Had lobster only once on a 14 night cruise which was on the last formal night. They will serve lobster a few night at the specialty restaurant as a special but you need to check in advance.
