Bed rails?

Does anyone know if Carnival has bed rails for children? My daughter in law is afraid her 2 year old will fall out of the bed. (I am talking about the beds on the floor not bunk beds. She wouldn't put a 2 year old in a bund bed).

 

If they don't have them can she take her own on the ship?

No--the lower beds do not have bed rails.

 

And yes, you may take bed rails on the ship. We have many times. Currently we are using a collapsible bedrail that easily packs into our suitcase.

I don't know if they have them, but I doubt it. We use a blow-up bed rail when we travel. It fits well in the suitcase and my son has never fallen out of bed.

No, the lower beds on our Valor cruise did not have the rail...........

One time I put the mattress on the floor and put the 2 year old there. It was on Carnival and the cabin was big enough...just a simple Ocean View cabin (Cat 6)

That's what I'd do, if the child is prone to falling out of bed--just put her on the floor! Kids can sleep anywhere!

Thats what we do too or if its the couch that makes into a bed we just turn it around to face the wall with the "back side" acting as our rail. She hasnt fallen out of it yet.

I really like that matress on the floor idea. I think that's what we will do when DD outgrows the pack n play.
