Has anyone done the jungle walk or the horseback ride in Belize?

We are not cave tubers - so we're looking for something other than a beach in Belize. Can anyone recommend either the jungle walk or the horseback ride?

My daughter and a friend did the horseback ride from the spa last summer. They enjoyed themselves, but were not greatly impressed for two reasons: they were hoping to see more animals and it was a very long ride to get there. However, they basically got two tours for the price of one. My daughter noticed that they passed Altun Ha on their way to the Spa and convinced their driver to stop on the way back. Their driver was knowledgeable enough about the ruins to act as a guide so it worked out well.
