What Time Should My Ride Meet Me At the Port of Miami

I am having someone I know pick us up after our cruise at the port of Miami. What time should I tell them to be there? I don't want them waiting all day but I really don't want to be standing in the sun either.

The times vary when getting off the ship. If customs has any problems you may not get off until 10 or 11. If it was me, I'd have my cell phone. I'd call when I was close to getting off of the ship.

I found the Miami debarkation super fast for my cruise last October .

Not sure if that is normal though

 

I was back at my hotel before they finished breakfast .

 

I am sure you will get more replies from other cruisers

perhaps my debarkation will differ from theirs

We have gotten in line and gotten off in 15 minutes or 2 hours. Just depends on when customs clears the ship and luck imo. Id use the cell phone and call them wherever they are in the city and have them come get me once I was for sure clearing the ship and on my way to customs.

They are coming from about an hour away, thats why I was looking for a time.

i have don it mane times tell them 9;30 and get there cell phone #
