Parrot57 Posted March 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2009 Both my husband and I have sleep apnea and use cpap machines at night. I was told by customer service that there would be electric outlets but they could not tell me the location. Anyone know the location of electric outlets on the Pearl, specifically courtyard villa 14008. Are the outlets in both bedrooms or only one. :) Thank you. EastTexans2 Posted March 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2009 Normally there is just ONE outlet near the vanity area.....pack a power strip!
Don Haynes Posted March 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2009 The cabins are about 8 feet apart, if you don't want to the strip to hang across the room, use a 8 foot power strip, not one of 2 feet. The last thing you want is to have someone trip over the strip or extension cord and drag the CPAP machine to the floor.
Homeboy1003 Posted March 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2009 My wife has sleep apnea too ... we were in an AB cabin last month and there was only one outlet by the sink and it was about 10 feet away from her nightstand. We bought this for the trip: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006HQR8 Worked like a charm. :)

2Cruise4Ever Posted March 8, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 8, 2009 The Courtyard cabins are identical to the AB penthouse. There are outlets in the master bathroom, master bedroom (look below the drawer beside the table), the dining area (by the coffee pot), and the second bathroom and bedroom. You should be fine. Traveller20074 Posted March 9, 2009 #7 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Speaking of CPAP...I bought a BreatheX Journey rechargeable CPAP specifically for traveling. AWESOME machine! Small, lightweight and I don't have to carry an extra bag with a huge machine. It fits in my carry on. It costs about $500, but I think it is worth it. I charge it during the day, and use it at night. No worrying about where to plug it in. It doesn't have a humidifier and is only able to be set on one pressure, but it's something you might consider for later.

Traveller20074 Posted March 9, 2009 #12 Share Posted March 9, 2009 BreatheX is ergonomically designed to be used in multiple positionsfrom http://www.cpapman.com/viasys.html I found that if I use it on my bed, I "fight" with it all night, and it's in my way. I just place it on my nightstand or floor while traveling :D It is such a GREAT little thing. I was so tired of dragging that heavy bag around LOL
