cruiseorbust Posted April 28, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 28, 2004 My husband and I decided to play slots in the casino. We went to the dollar machines; each fed a $20 dollar bill in, and began by betting $1 (it was maximum of $3). He sat 3 machines down from me. He was winning alittle. I on the other hand, was losing. I got down to $4 credit left. I leaned over to tell him "the machine sucked" and that I was going to cash out. I lost my balance, and the stool went out from under me. I immediately grabbed the machine to break my fall. By mistake I hit "max bet button" and won the jackpot of $3,000!! True story!!! winncove Posted May 1, 2004 #17 Share Posted May 1, 2004 Renewed our wedding vows for 25th Anniv. Planned on a cruise every 5 yrs but that didn't work out. Finally going on Mariner 8/29, 2 wks after 48th Anniv, and already too excited. This board is terrific to see all the changes in cruising. [We're pretending this is our 50th Anniv. in case we don't make that one. Not morbid, just to have fun!]
