Exploring Old San Juan from Adventure

A few years ago when my hubby and I were in San Juan we were able to get off the ship and explore Old San Juan after we checked in and put our things in our cabin and had some lunch. Then we reboarded at the correct time before departure. I had heard a while back that they no longer allow you to do this, but that just didn't seem right to me. Will they allow you to get off the Adventure once you have boarded in order to explore Old San Juan? :confused:

I was on the January 17 cruise and we got on and off without a problem.

We sailed this past weekend and we were able to get off and get back on.

We were able to check in, have lunch in the Windjammer, get off and sightsee in Old San Juan, and reboard prior to sailaway. Many others did the same.

You can still get off, no problem. You just have to be onboard before muster.

Just make sure you get back to the ship before it leaves. :-)
