We are doing back to back cruises on the Majesty. Can someone tell me what happens on the debarkation/embarkation day between the two cruises? Can we leave our luggage on board (and hopefully just leave our clothes and things in the room without having to pack them back into the suitcases)?

As long as you have the same cabin for both legs, you leave your luggage and clothes where they are!

You will be given instructions by the last night of the 1st leg, telling you where to meet. At that time, you are issued a New Seapass card. Depending on the port where you are embarking from, you may be able to stay on the Ship, or will have to walk off with a Crew member and come right back on the Ship!

Enjoy your B2B!:)

Thanks! I was hoping that it would be that easy. We are departing from Miami, B2B cruises to the Bahamas/Key West. Hoping we can just stay on board.

We (Elisa and I(AL)) are doing the Sydney - Hawaii - Vancouver B2B April 2010 and are really looking forward to seeing places we may not get to again. We got the same cabin for both legs so it should be easy.

Does anyone know what happens if on the day between cruises if you were to leave the terminal would we have to join the lines with new passengers to get back on a few hours later?

Whether you get to stay on the ship or have to disembark and process thru immigration is up to the ports customs director....

If you have to disembark it's usually a walk off and then back on..

If you are changing cabins, just have your stuff packed by 0800, and the room steward will have it all moved by the time you get back on board..

when I did B2B (NOS) in Dec 08, We have to disembark (Fort Lauderdale) and when We got to customs, we were given our new SeaPass cards and it was back on..

you'll get to enjoy a few minutes Alone one th ship before the others come on.. good time to get Pics and look around..

enjoy...:)

Royal Caribbean makes the total B2B very easy ... at least out of Florida ports.

Only thing that made us UNHAPPY was not being able to go back to our cabin immediately (same cabin for both) .... Also, there was a period of about two hours then NOTHING on the ship was open ....

Are you doing the 4 day first or the 3 day?? If you are doing the 4 day first than you do not get off the ship at all. You cleared the day before in Key West. Your seapass cards are delieved on the last night. But if you are doing the 3 day first than yes you get off the ship to get cleared.

On the 4 day we used the time to check out all the cabins. We got to see the Royal Suite the Owners Suite and Grand Suite. It was great fun. We also could go to our cabin anytime we wanted, even when the doors were closed. We were told we could.

Have a wonderful time.

If we can manage it, I am hoping for Nov 2011, we can't go sooner, to fly to Barcelona, do a 7 day Med on the Voyager, then continue on with the TA to Galveston, providing they don't change the schedule. Friends from our Hawaii Roll Call are doing it this Nov 2009. We would enjoy staying aboard for another cruise and it would be our first b2b.

I just did the 4-night and then 3-night, back to back in that order (see my review!!) a few weeks ago, on the Majesty. :)

I was not told that it was up to me to tell my cabin steward during the week that i was doing a B2B. I just happened to mention it. You have to tell him/her. You'll then have to leave your cabin (and your luggage) by 8am on Friday (day of disembarkation after Cruise 1).

I was told to be at the library on Friday at 10, 10:15am.

I went there at 9:45. At 9:50 a security woman came over to me and handed me my new Sea Pass card (it was NOT the night before as someone said earlier) and said, "Have fun."

I went to my new cabin to check it out and my luggage was already there and my new steward introduced herself to me.

I then sat by the pool waiting for my sister to show up at 11:20.

When you do 4-night then 3-night you don't have to get off the ship because it clears customs in Key West. So you're all good. Could NOT be easier. I was the ONLY passenger on the ship from about 9:45 - 11:15.

ENJOY!!!!

We haven't done that on our B2Bs, but I understand you do not have to wait in line. You would already have your new seapass card. I just don't know how it works since the terminal would be filled with passengers. Of course, if you are gone until close to sail time, there would not be as many passengers in the terminal. I guess that is when you "sail through."

petesweet, I read a Post from a lady who she and her husband hsve done more cruises then I can count. Two possibilities, you could either remain on board depending on the Port and have everything transferred to your new Card, or 2. Be escorted off by an RCL staff thru Customs and back on again. If your luggage needs to be moved to another room, that will be done by the Room Steward. You inform the Desk that your doing a b2b and they take care of you from there. Alert your room Steward that your staying on.

You may have read this WRONG! The instructions are given on the last night. The Seapass card is issued at the Meeting Place!

Have Fun.

I think they were talking about me. I stated that we received the seapass card in our cabin the night before. There was only 4 of us doing the b2b we all got our cards the night before becasue there was NO meeting place the next morning. This is how it worked for us on the Majesty on Jan.24, 2009 and Jan. 31,2009. I can only comment on how it worked for us.

Good Lord, pmshirl! I did not "read this WRONG!" Wow!! I was talking about snausman who got her pass the night before. All I said was I was handed mine the last day, not the night before as a previous poster stated. Obviously I was talking about Snausman.

(PS it's amazing how everyone on each ship does everything differently. There were four of you traveling and you got your cards the night before...on my cruise I was the ONLY B2Ber and I still had to go to the library, just TWO weeks later. It would be nice if everyone did everything the same way!)

Now that would be nice if they did everything the same, that way when you tell someone what to expect it might just be that way. Instead its always a crap shoot on the info you try to give. But I did have a great time on that cruise. So like you did too.
