Another question,

We are staying at his hotel before our cruise getting in around 7pm.

Can anyone recommend some places to eat withing walking distance?

Any liquor/convenience stores?

We stayed at this hotel last December and ate right across the street at an Italian cafe called Giorgio's. The bread and pizaa were delicious. It is a neighborhood type restaurant-no frills. There is outdoor seating as well. The prices were very reasonable and we had great service. I'm not sure what their hours are but the hotel website mentions that they deliver pizza to the hotel.

 

By the way, they have a $10 off coupon that you present at checkout on the hotel website. You just print out the coupon and present it at checkout for the credit back to your credit card.

We found this hotel to have especially great service. The airport shuttle was prompt and they had comp. water and chips/cookies in the room.

 

There was a Publix within walking distance and other stores, but I don't know if I would walk at night. We went before the cruise to pick up some items, and they can get heavy if you are walking back to the hotel.

We have enjoyed this hotel many times. You can also walk to the Outback restaurant- not far.
