florida-mom Posted March 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Finding it very difficult to find info about this excursion...anyone ever do this one??
matj2000 Posted March 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2009 Its not really an excursion. It is a roped off area in the water were they and bring about 15 people at a time in the water(waste deep). Then they bring out the seal from a pen. They just swim it around everyone, pet it and take photos. It isn't a major production are anything. It is done very low key locals on the island(Cayo Levantado). No website, reservations, phones, ect.
islandgirlejfan Posted March 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2009 I was wondering the same thing....it's rather pricey on NCL....I love animal encounters, but just wondering if this one is worth it. Would you do it again or would you select something else?
matj2000 Posted March 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2009 I didn't do it, I just watched from 10 ft away like everyone else...
Blue Hen Mom Posted March 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2009 I wouldnt do it. We took the excursion to just go to the beach which is alot cheaper. Later in the day they bring the sea lion and the monkeys down the beach and you can have your picture and a chance to hold them then. They sell the pictures in a little hut on the island for 10.00 a piece.
