I do because even though I've been cruising for over 30 years on about 5 cruise lines, I STILL learn something new and interesting on this board EVERY day!

I like to read what's happening since I've been on a cruise, and I also like to get info on a ship or port I haven't been on/to yet.

Its a great site, but dont like the deleted messages, and threads, also when they close down discussions. Sometimes they seem a bit heavy and sometimes it appears they dont want people saying too many negative comments about certain lines.

Information! If it's happening on the cruise lines, you'll find it here on cruisecritic. If you have a question, you can get it answered here quickly. I also like how all cruise lines have their own place. This way I'm not wading through info on every cruise line to find what I want about a particular cruise line. It's probably the largest collection of knowledge about cruising on all the cruise lines in one, well organized place.

My favorite part is reading the reviews. Especially the ones that are in depth with day by day description! It helps me escape from my daily routine and slip off for a little while. Almost as good as being there myself!

i agree with TPKeller, its a great way to cruise vicariously. Its also a wonderful way to get information on anything you need. There's always someone out there whose done what you want to do and can give you the 411 on it.

I like the fact that the boards are cruise-line specific, so I can get information about a specific line rather than combing through a bunch of posts that aren't of interest to me. I was also a long-time contributor to a usenet board, but found that the people were getting too hostile, too much off topic, etc. and it got really annoying.
