Retractable Roof Pools - Ever Open?

You know, now that you mention it, I've never seen the magrodome open on Galaxy or Mercury. Weird! :confused: Maybe it's too much of a hassle to open it?

 

Now I'm dying to know if anyone HAS ever seen it open, LOL!

Please don't die over it~:) I was on Galaxy in January and saw

it open:D I love that area on the ship. Find a cushioned lounger,

the bar is right there, a good book to read, ahhhhhhhhhh........

When we first cruised on Galaxy in summer 2006, there was a story that the pool roof was stuck almost-but-not-quite shut; certainly we never saw it open.

 

However, the following year we cruised on her again, and on that occasion the roof was in constant movement: the weather was very hot and the roof was opened every day & shut every night.
