Oosterdam April 17 2010 changed to April 24th

Just got a letter from Holland America advising us that the April 17th, 2010 Oosterdam Sea of Cortez from San Diego to Vancouver has been canceled and replaced with an April 24th cruise date.

 

They kept us in the same stateroom and the fare is the same, just the date has changed.

We got word as well - same thing for us same stateroom etc. different Confirmation code though and we got $75 each OBCC. A week delay isnt too bad although the weather in Mexico gets pretty humid in the summer.

Actually, I believe most airlines in the US will only book air travel 330 days in advance. Some (like Southwest) allow even less. Since this cruise is in spring of 2010, it is outside that 330 day limit.

lol. When I got the letter, my first thought was that it was for my cruise coming up next weekend. I almost had a heart attack, until I realized it was for next year's cruise.

those of you who got letters are privileged - I had to tell my TA about the change and then cancel!!!! Not Happy
