Price drop clarification question

I know if you call prior to final payment and there are no "new booking only" restrictions on the lower price that RCCL will give you the new price.

 

What about after final payment? Will they honor the lower price and give you a credit (either onboard or back to the CC) or are you SOL?

for resident, senior, military, law enforcement and plain old drops on the website they will credit back to your credit card with no problem right up until a few days before sailing.

 

The only ones they do NOT honor is the Tuesday Sales events as those are for new bookings only.

Hi,

I got 400 dol. back after calling them and asking if it was possible to get the new lower price on their web site.

That was after my final payment. The credit of 400 showed up on my Credit Card about 4 days later.

Thank you RCI, they for shure did not have to do that.

I do not know if other cruise lines do the same.
