Questions regarding the Mediterranea W. Carrib - Dance club(s)? Free upgrade?

Somewhat experienced cruiser here :) looking to go on my first cruise w/fiancee. We have been considering Costa due to the timing, port, location, and price and so far everything looks good. I have read a bunch of mixed reviews about Costa, most of which seem to be focused on the food. Since we enjoy pasta and seafood I feel we will love the food selection. Just had two quesions regarding this ship/cruise line:

 

- It seems there is one dance club on this ship, referencing disco. Do they only play older 70's music or is it a mix of new and old? Is there more than one dance club on the ship? (I know she will like it, but it does not need to be a party ship like Carnival for us to have a good time)

 

- Costa seems to be offering upgrades on CostaCruise.com, does anyone know which cruises qualify, or will Costa simply upgrade us when we book? Do we need to inquire while booking?

In addition, what is the crowd like on a Caribbean cruise? Older? Younger?

The age on board was mixed, more people 30-40s.

 

The club played mostly new vs old.

regarding the disco, we thought it was quite nice and they played a lot of European club music. The early 20's seemed to love it.
