Other Lines Owned by Carnival?

Recommended Posts

Here's a list of the member cruise lines under the Carnival umbrella:

Carnival Cruise Lines

Princess Cruises

Holland America Line

Costa Cruises

P&O Cruises

Cunard Line

Seabourn Cruise Line

Ocean Village

AIDA

P&O Cruises Australia

Iberocruceros

Past guest privileges on other brands are usually limited to discounts on some sailings. They all operate as separate entities.

What are the other cruise lines that are owned by Carnival with benefits for a past cruiser?

The singular past guest benefit that crosses brands is capacity controlled past guest fare discounts. No on board privileges cross over lines.

So after one cruise on Carnival, you are eligible for a past guest discount [iF AVAILABLE] on Princess, or HAL, or Costa, etc., etc., but you are not eligible to attend a past guest party on those lines until you ARE a past guest of that line.

10 cruises on one line = 0 on the other lines.

So in other words, Platinum status with Carnival means nothing on a Princess or HAL ship. Correct?

Not really. Cruising on one does not get you the past guest rates on another. You may get a discount, but it won't be as good. The lingo they use is Vacation Interchange Program which gets confusing with the other VIP programs.

But you can still go as long as you know somebody who IS a past guest of that line.:D
