Debarkation

Dear cruisers,

 

the last day of my next cruise we arrive in Venice at 6.00 am and since I have to reserve a car with driver I need to know when guests usually can debark.:confused:

Dear IG, I would let them 2 hours for the paperwork (customs etc) and for unloading. Including the usual minor delays and keeping i mind the fact that not all guest can leave at the same time, I think you can be off the ship at around 09.30. If you calculate some time for picking up your luggage a time between 09.30 and 10.00 should be fine!Happy cruising

So what the latest you can leave the ship?

We get into Barcelona at 6am staying at a hotel for 2 days, so I really do not want to leave to early;)

The Ship is normally cleared by 9.30. We have finished twice in Venice and have been off by 8.30 on both occasions both on Az and O.

We are on this same cruise (April 25) but are staying on for the next week. We will leave the ship in Venice, but just for the day not to disembark. Will we be able to get off earlier as there shouldn't be any paperwork for us? I want to maximize my sightseeing time in Venice.

Anyone ever done a back-to-back and gotten off at the debarcation port to visit and sightsee? Can we be the first off? Do we get a different pass for getting back on since we've already checked in ?

They will give you a special pass and you can get of whenever you want. You have no luggage so just go. They will give you a new seacard to get back on the ship.
