Help with Cruise Excursions

We are taking a HAL cruise from Seward to Vancouver in early July. We are taking the Kenai Fjords National Park 6 hour cruise and a Harv and Marv whale watch in Juneau. We have yet to book excursions in Haines and Ketchikan . In Haines, we are considering the Chilkoot Lake Cruise and Wildlife experience or the Alaskan Wildlife experience but we have to choose between the two because of a time conflict. The first is on water-the second on land. We also are thinking of the Alpine Mountain Explorer in the afternoon. In Ketchikan, our daughter wants to Zipline and we are thinking of the Bering Sea Crab Fisherman’s Tour or the Misty Fjords and Wilderness Explorer. We would like to see some wildlife but we don’t want the trips to be redundant. Other than helicopter or floatplane trips, are there any other excursions in Haines or Ketchikan that are recommended?

Not sure about the descriptions, but you are not likely to see wildlife in the "wild" out of Haines. There is a zoo/farm type tour, if this is what you are referring to?? As for the lake, not anything special that I see???

It sounds like Ketchikan would be your only option for the priority of zip lining, and the Bering tour gets very good reviews.

Yes,the Alaskan Wildlife experience is a tour through the Kroscel Films Wildlife Center and a drive through the Chilikat Bald Eagle Preserve.Have you heard any reviews on that trip? Also, have you heard any feedback on the Misty Fjords Boat Excursion out of Ketchikan?

Sorry, no, my wildlife priority is in the wild. :) Don't expect much wildlife either on the Misty Fiords boat tours either. BUT do keep a look out just leaving/returning to Ketchikan. The trees, many times are loaded with eagles. Check them out from your cruiseship as well.
