Does anyone know of a Park & Cruise hotel in Norfolk?

There is a Sheraton Right by the port that offers it, but they are a bit expensive. But it is right down town among all the action. You would be able to see the ship in port before leaving the hotel.

As a previous poster mentioned, the Quality Suites/Sleep Inn at Lake Wright also offers for a much better price. This is were we are staying for our upcoming cruise. Quality Suites offers hot breakfast. Sleep Inn offers Continental. They are near the airport, but offer a shuttle to and from the pier. We stayed her for our Norfolk cruise two years ago too.

Also the Holiday Inn offers a package but no shuttle to the pier, cost was $159.00 plus tax. Best Western out by the bay has one that is $199.99 plus tax. We will be staying at the Quality Inn for our cruise in 10 days. Cost is about $150.00 including tax for room, parking, shuttle both ways and hot breakfast. This will be our first trip out Norfolk so we decide to go in a day early to get the lay of the land. I am told that there is a parking garage across from pier for $14.00 pd or one further away for $10.00 with free shuttle to the pier.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise.

The Radisson in Norfolk has a park and cruise package that we have used a couple of times. It includes a night's lodging, buffet breakfast and transportation to the pier the day of your cruise and back to the hotel upon your return. If I recall, the price was around $160.

We live about 40 miles from Norfolk, but like to go the day before and take in a museum, do some shopping and have dinner in Norfolk. I've seen comments about the Radisson being in a "bad" part of town. IMO, it's fine. It's a couple of blocks to the MacArthur Mall, an easy walk to the waterfront and an easy walk to the Chrysler Museum.

Nauticus is right next to the cruise ship terminal and is an excellent museum that focuses on maritime history and marine life. It's especially good if you've got kids because they have alot of hands on exhibits.

We stayed at Virginia Beach and drove to Norfolk as it was only 20 minutes. They have security patrolled and fenced parking areas up the street from the port, about 5 minutes away. You can drop your luggage at the port and then go park or do as we did and park and take your luggage with you. There are shuttles at the parking area that will take you to the ship. Norfolk is one of the fastest embarkation and disembarkation ports that we have been to. Plus, it's only a five hour drive from our home.

If we ever sailed outta norfolk again I'd def. book the radisson again. we stayed over nite last yr for our cruise. loved the transport to the pier. very friendly staff there. neighborhood it was in was very good and quiet actually. we went and explored the city at nite. didn't have a problem at all. they had a security guard at nites with locked gates. hotel was clean and reasonable price. had a pool for kids. breakfast was good. and yes we have read reviews on here as well about how it was such a bad place to sleep. but we took that advise with a grain of salt an booked it an we enjoyed it very much. enjoy your cruise. :)
