Host Carolyn Posted April 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Getting ready to redeem a bunch of points for upcoming cruise and could not find out penalty/no penalty etc. for "redepositing" the points if you have to cancel for a medical reason etc. (i.e. a valid "excuse" for insurance purposes causes the cancellation). Searched FAQ's etc to see if policy was similar to airlines which require a fee be paid.. Called and guess what? You have to deal w/ Princess directly to get a refund.. this is not an issue w/ us because what the very very nice representative told me to do was to redeem the points for a credit on the cruise... that way the credit goes onto the VISA right away and if you cancel you have no issue.
