transportation from Logan Airport to pier

After we drop off our rental car at Logan Airport, how would we get to the pier besides for taking a taxi? We plan on dropping off our luggage to a porter on the way to the airport.:)

From the rental car place, take the rental car bus back to any airport terminal. I might go to Terminal A just because it's first and you will get a seat. However, to save time you would go to Terminal E which is last. On the same level should be the Silver Line bus SL1 - $2/pp. - Ask the bus driver if you can transfer at Silver Line Way to the SL2 bus to Black Falcon. If not, go one more stop to World Trade Center and cross over to the opposite platform and take the SL2 bus. The MBTA trip planner says 20 minutes from Terminal E and 30 minutes from Terminal A.
