DoniaG Posted April 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2009 This is such a trivial question that I almost hate to use the space. Does Celebrity sell the cards that let you drink sodas all week. Someone on our roll call said they didn't think X did. However, I have the impression that we got them when I was on the Azamara Journey last year - but I wouldn't care to make a large bet on it! If yes, does anyone know what the going price is. Thanks Donia

wavelets Posted April 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2009 We purchased soda cards on the Constellation in March. I believe it was $50 (plus 15%) for a 10 day cruise.
hajekfam Posted April 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2009 It is not a soda card but rather a sticker that they put on yor sign and sail card. From Celebrity's website: What is Celebrity's soft-drink program?Subject: Food and Beverage Celebrity's soft-drink program has been established for all guests onboard to obtain soda drinks at a daily rate of $5.00 plus 15% gratuity. The purchase of the package should be for the entire cruise and not on a daily basis. In the event the purchase of the package is not made on the first day of the cruise the guest will be charged for the remaining days of the cruise inclusive of the purchase day. Packages are available for purchase in the Plaza Bar (Horizon) and Cova Cafe (all other vessels). After the package has been purchased, a soda sticker will be placed on the guest's signature account card. Guests with the CoCa-Cola stickers can obtain sodas from all bars throughout the ship and with exception of room service or the mini-bars. The sodas will only be served when the guest is present and one drink at a time. In the event a guest loses their signature account card with the soda sticker, a new folio number has to be issued together with a new card and soda sticker. DoniaG Posted April 29, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted April 29, 2009 Thanks, all. Now that you mention stickers, I remember that from Azamara. I also remember having an amazingly difficult time getting a Diet Coke at breakfast! (Hey, some people do coffee - some people do Diet Coke!) D. STXCruisers Posted April 30, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 30, 2009 On our recent 7-day cruise on Solstice, we purchased the soda, which was $35 plus $5 tax each. They gave us thermal travel mugs to use, but you could also get the soda at any bar (or in the dining room) by just showing the sticker on your sail & sign card. FiggyWig Posted April 30, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 30, 2009 You can buy (as we have) a soda package through Celebrity Gifts - see at the bottom of the home page on the website. You purchase this in advance for the number of days of your cruise. Can't remember the exact costs, but it avoids the 15% extra bit. I believe the soda card is then delivered to your room and entitles the holder you to unlimited soft drinks.
PatC Posted April 30, 2009 #8 Share Posted April 30, 2009 You can also purchase the package on board the day you sail. Now, here's the funny part. On Galaxy they gave you another seapass card after boarding with the work "soda" imprinted on it. Same on Summit. This time in March on Connie they put the sticker on. Seems to change by ship lately. Anyway, if you want to wait until you get on board you can. Same price plus the 15% depending the length of your cruise. We think it's worth it since we both use it at different times.
