VEENDAM: First cruise after refurbishment

Sorry about my ignorance, what code red means? I will be traveling on the Veendam the first week of June going to Alaska.

Thanks!

Code Red means health precautions are being taken against communicable diseases. No self serve food - not even salt and pepper shakers on the tables. Extra cleaning by the crew, etc.

One week from today we board the Veendam for Vancouver. I don't care what a ship

looks like from the outside. I care how the service, food and cleanliness is. I personally

think the improvements look great. I was on the Veendam last year and the ship was

starting to look a little rough.

Kudos to HAL for sinking the money into an older ship instead of building a new box.
