Plea for help to get from airport to Eden Hotel in Venice

Recommended Posts

I have Googled myself silly trying to find out how to get to Eden Hotel in Venice from the airport. I realise that I get a train from the airport but from the terminus I am lost. My main problem is that Google is showing 2 Eden Hotels, both are identical in the photo. Are there 2 Eden's:confused:, one indicates it is near the station while the other is nearer to Rialto Bridge. If anyone can help me I would be eternally grateful, in all my years of travel I have never been so confused as I am now. I read that a water taxi is very expensive so any help with public transport, eg stop numbers etc, would be appreciated. My other hurdle is that no street names are shown on the maps and that compounds my problem.

We are only there for the one night before our cruise on MSC Musica to Greece & Croatia on 27th Sept, any other members on that cruise:confused:.

Thanks, Misty

cruisemom42, you beat me to the punch.

I'm not having much better luck. This is their website, maybe try emailing them or calling them for better directions. The map isn't very explicit.

But it definitely isn't close to the railroad station. Alilaguna sounds like your best solution from the airport to the hotel, but then you're on your own to get to the pier.

First of, there is no train service from the airport. You want to catch a bus which drops you at P. Roma or you can take the water bus.

Hotel Eden's web site http://www.htleden.com/EN/location.html says the S.Marcuola stop on vapo (water bus) line #1. If this is the same hotel (perhaps there is Eden Hotel also that I don't know of) at Cannaregio 2357 it is very close to the Casino (wich is closed in the summer as the games are moved to the Lido)

Thanks for your reply, it's nice to know I'm not the only one having problems. I will look into the website and email if I don't have better luck (let's hope they speak English). Cheers Misty
