2011 Dates?

Recommended Posts

Just curious... does anyone know when Celebrity typically posts dcruise dates for two years later? Er, badly phrased. I am wondering when they might ahve dates for Xpedition to Galapagos for 2011. Called cust service and they said "unknown". But I don't really buy that. So if anyone has any ideas re: how far before cruises the dates/pricing is posted, I'd be interested to know. Thanks!

I can't state specifically for Celebrity, but most of the cruise lines just posted their prices for Europe for 2010 within the last week.

If my memory serves me, I think usually about 18 months out is as far as they go. If you are on-board, they might be able to book out further than that, but in looking on-line the cruises just aren't there that far out.

I can't even locate a cruise that is on Ocean Princess out of Dover for Aug 2010. It's on Princess website, but none of the other sites have it yet.

Good luck in finding the cruise you want, as the cruiselines don't always offer the same itinerary year to year either.

The Xpedition dates are the usually the first ones to show up as the next season's schedules are being posted. If you are looking for after April 2011, those schedules will appear around January/February 2010 (based on the previous timing). As a previous poster mentioned, the schedules for before April 2011 are already posted on the Celebrity website and are open for booking.

  • 4 weeks later...

The only cabins with verandas on the Xpedition are suites. The regular cabins are all outside/ocean view. That is why the veranda cabins and inside cabins are "sold out". There aren't any. I think the IS and veranda are listed is because Celebrity's site is set up that way.

Cotty gee

Maybe you can get on a waiting list if it is truly sold out--but calling them will answer your questions.

Nope ... As Aquatot11 stated, there are no inside or standard verandah cabins on Xpedition -- they are always listed as "Sold Out." Just check the deck plans at www.celebrity.com -- always the best source for information on topics like this!
