Glacier hiking in Juneau

I have a choice between hiking on a glacier in the mid morning or in the afternoon (i.e. 11 a.m. vs. 3 p.m.). Any recommendations?

I'm assuming this is via helicopter?? It doesn't matter, except for your other plans for the day. Schedule what fits your timeframe the best.

 

I only recommend the longest trekking tours, level 3, the shorter ones are "too short", you barely get your crampons on, and on to the ice, before you have to turn back. Add, if you happen to be with a slow group, even less trekking.
