Helicopter icefield excursion

has anyone booked/done this excursion thru shoretrips? I am thinking of booking this for my husband and daughter on our upcoming cruise to Alaska. It would be out of Juneau.

I never recommend or would use "Shoretrips" for any Alaska independent tour. It is better to book direct, get your reservation confirmed, questions answered- no phone tag, no misinformation.

 

There are 4 helicopter companies out of Juneau. All offer excellent tours.

Thanks for your quick reply. Did you have problems with them in the past? I only ask because my TA thought they were reputable and I'd like to give her the "heads up" if there have been problems.

Last week we took Coastal Helicopters out of Juneau. We booked direct and everything went perfectly smoothly. They were waiting for us where they said they would be right on time. The ride was glorious and of course, unlimited visibility helped also. The ride out of town to the airport was only about 10 min - not the 45 min they said to allow for. Book direct and skip Shoretrips.com

Sorry, but if your TA "thinks" they are reputable, this TA is of no help to you in Alaska. Not sure why you are relying on their information, when they clearly have no other recommendations for you?? Shore trips is a booking agent, nothing more. Their business is based on commissions. The information is nothing more than what is read off a sheet. They are not based in Alaska. Has your TA even been to Alaska?? Done ANY tours independently? I will speculate not.
