Boarding Pass

Shogun

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

Got our good old paper documents from Princess for our up and coming cruise, as we are from UK we do not get to print our boarding pass,

then I thought what does one look like having never seen one,

can some one show us ?.

so this is what we do get

luggage tags

conditions of contract

more conditions of contract the small print Warsaw convention or Montreal etc

Credit Card Registration form

Itinerary confirming transfers etc plus notes on what to do at airport

the good old noro fact sheet

your cruise ticket

flight ticket

As to tour booklet, yes we got one but it is not for our cruise but covers most of the ports.

Shogun,

I tried to post a "copy and paste" of our boarding pass, but CC won't allow it as presented. I'm at work and I don't have a program that will put it into a form that CC will allow. I tried.

Sorry

John

Thanks for the info, Shogun. Great for a first time cruiser like me :)

Saves me from trying to figure out how to print off the boarding pass... had seen it mentioned on these forums and was going to investigate the Princess website, though I did suspect that it was US only. Gives me more time to dream about the cruise now, instead

Shogun .... last November on our Ruby cruise out of FLL ..... i do not recall having a Boarding pass! ... we were issued with our door cards/pass which you put into the machine on entry to the ship while it takes your photo its all you need after you have handed in your credit card details!

I guess you didn't have the right program either

John,

Are you saying you can't see it? I can see the boarding pass in my post and in your quote of that post.

Can anyone else see it? Perhaps I'm going batty...

Lew,

Maybe it's my computer. In your post and the quote it's just a box with red "X" where the picture should be. I even tried right clicking on the "X" and then clicking on SHOW PICTURE. Nothing.

I'l try it on my computer when I get home in two hours.

Lew,

Now I'm really confused. Came home and checked on my computer, now there isn't even the box with the red"X"????????????????

John

PS

Maybe it's a conspiracy:eek:

John,

Well, it's just a link to a jpg that resides on another site. So the problem is either with the CC site or the site where the file resides.

I've got a feeling that it's CC, since this site does act a bit funky at times.

Hi all,

thanks now I know what a boarding pass looks like.

Still do not realy see what it does, we turn up hand over our passports

Princess swips them and issues cruise cards.

Shogun,

On our Crown cruise last April, I called Princess to double check that I had printed out everything that I needed to board. The CSR told me that all I really needed was a passport if I had filled out everything else online as all is electronic.

Of course I might have gotten a different answer if I had called back and gotten someone different.

HI, You can go online and print your "boarding pass" 75 days before the cruise. This is different than the card you get at embarkation to go on and off the ship. It just helps check in go a little faster telling them you have filled out everything online.
