SelectSys Posted June 12, 2009 #26 Share Posted June 12, 2009 I booked it, haven't done it yet:p. We go on 12/7 and return on 12/23. My BIL flies a lot and his airline of preference in coach class is Delta because he says they do have more leg room. AA used to, but decided more seats crammed closer together made more $$. I haven't flown Delta for several years so have nothing current to compare it to, but it has to be better than Continental or AA! I don't sleep well on airplanes, but DH can sleep standing up against a wall. I am hoping that maybe I will able to sleep this time if I take a couple of Tylenol (can't tolerate any type of sleeping meds). I don't really care about the return flight as I can sleep when I get home:D My impression of Delta is that they were more crowded than AA. Why not look on SeatGuru and see the facts. They list the legroom in various classes of service for your particular aircraft type - http://www.seatguru.com/
10splyr Posted June 14, 2009 #27 Share Posted June 14, 2009 The difference in price is $1K! Delta was $808 and AA was $1800 pp, thus a no brainer for us. And the schedule was awful.
