turn down service

Recommended Posts

They also have this in good hotels...

The room steward prepares your bed in the evening to be ready for you when you want to go to sleep. Taking off the day cover, pulling back the sheets, putting a chocolate on the pillow and maybe also create a towel animal.

If your cabin has bunk beds and they are needed, they will be turned down (they are usually hidden in the ceiling or turned against the wall). I guess that's were the name "turn down service" comes from.

Also, the bathroom is usually cleaned a second time (first time in the morning) and towels replaced...

oh! guess that was a stupid question. We were on majesty on 1997 - don't remember towel animals but they did prepare the pull down bunk beds for our daughters and gave us fresh towels for the evening. can't wait til 11/14 on the jewel. we're going with a group of friends to celebrate anniversaries. been a long time since 1997!!! thanks for the reply
