Back to Back on Liberty!!

Recommended Posts

My DH and I are doing Back to Back on Liberty for his birthday Sept 5 and Sept 12 out of Miami. Its our first B2B but we are Platinum cruisers. Its my understanding that they have a special switchover station for the B2B cruisers at the port---can anyone advise and can anyone give us any tips??

We are so excited!!

Below is what was included in the C&A magazine that we received earlier this year regarding consecutive cruises (aka b2b).

There is no switchover station at the port. Everything is handled on the ship as long as both cruises are linked together by the b2b desk. You will only need to print out your SetSail Pass for your first cruise as all information from that will be transferred to the second part of your b2b.

You will receive a letter towards the end of your first cruise giving you all the instructions you need.

If you have the same cabin for both cruises, that's even better.

We've done many b2b's and just did 2 consecutive cruises on Radiance and the switch over was amazing and so easy.

Consecutive cruising just got better

If you are a consecutive cruiser, you're in for a nice surprise with all the great benefits we're offering. Enjoy the convenience of having your SeaPass account information automatically transferred, your dining preferences noted and set for your next voyage. Review the Sneak Peek Compass containing information about cruise entertainment lineups so you may begin to plan your time with us. Enjoy other exclusive benefits like priority tender tickets*, dining courtesy calls and special events. We want you to have a seamless cruise vacation experience.

Did B2B on Liberty in November 08. Not sure what you mean about a "switchover station" at the port. The last day of the cruise, the B2B cruisers were all invited to one of the lounges where they gave us some champagne and munchies and explained the B2B process.

The last day of the cruise we were all to meet and a given time (as I recall around 9:30 AM or so) and place where our seapass cards for the next week were given to us. Then we all followed an "escort" off the ship - ringing out with our old cards and right back on board using our new cards ( I think we had a pictures taken again for the new cards).

It was fun to have the ship pretty much empty and to ourselves because we got some great pictures of the ship without having people in the shots. Enjoy...We love the Liberty.
