I've really enjoyed your thorough review and even sent the link to my 16 yr old daughter that loves to write (She has already begun her first novel). Your writing style is very informative as well as entertaining. My husband and I are sailing the Miracle this November and the whole family is sailing on the Freedom during spring break. We are looking forward to both cruises!

 

I have one question about your foo foo drinks. What is the drink that is half red (strawberry?) and half white? It looks similar to a drink my sisters discovered on a RC cruise called a Mastercard which is strawberry on the bottom and mango on the top with rum. They have made these drinks for us and Carnival doesn't know this drink however I'm sure they could make it. It truly is delicious!

I can drink pina colada and straw. margarita. Just wondering what differs the daiquiri from the margarita. Sorry I'm not really up on all of the different mixers and liquors and drinks. It looks so yummy and I would like to try it on our next cruise if I can. Thanks so much!

I can help you out with this. A strawberry daiquiri has rum, lime juice, sugar and strawberries.

Glad you liked it! I really, really think the chocolate buffet should be had late at night instead of mid-morning/early afternoon. I love chocolate, but I'm never in the mood for chocolate like THAT in the morning. Late at night though, it would be SOOOO perfect.

Thanks!!! As others have said, the half red/half white is a Miami Vice (that's the universal name for it...you can get it anywhere where frozen drinks are served on land or sea) and it's half strawberry daiquiri, half pina colada, and 100% delicious :p

Mine was a Miami Vice, Stephanie's was a Kiss on the Lips (which is just peach schnapps, grenadine and mango mix). I think those were the only frozen drinks I had all week because they were YUM! I highly recommend both :p

I was on the Glory last year and it has the same exact chocolate buffet (they're pretty standard across the ships). Enjoy your first cruise! The Glory is a lovely ship!

I think Music Unlimited are permanently on the Miracle. I *think* they were on it when we first sailed on her way back in 2005, so I'm hoping they'll be there whenever we sail her again. They're such an awesome band so I'm sure they're some cool "dudes" too ;)
